We know Aspen is world-widely known for its winter activities, but it’s also a can’t-miss summer destination for the entire family! You can book an hour-long hot air balloon ride above the famous Elk Mountains – Above It All balloon Co, which is six miles away, or rent a bike and take a ride along the Rio Grande Trail, one of the most popular trails nearby. Downtown Aspen is a short three-mile ride away from your door and boasts endless dining options like Aspen Hickory House, White House Tavern, New York Pizza, and the popular and elegant Element 47.
