The Inn at Aspen is conveniently located at the base of Aspen’s Buttermilk Ski Area. Buttermilk is famous as the former home of ESPN Winter X Games and was voted #1 by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine Reader’s Poll for best pipe and park. Buttermilk built its 60-year legacy on wide-open and gently rolling trails that cater to beginners and families. If you’d like to see things from another point of view, drive three and a half miles and hop on the Silver Queen Gondola, which provides a 14-minute ride from Aspen to the 11,000-foot tall summit of Ajax Mountain.
