A 102 MYKONOS | Los Cabos

Entire place
|2 Bedrooms|

Inside the pristine, immaculate towers that form the luxurious Mykonos Bay Resort, in the first floor of Paradise, dreams come true in a spectacular way.

At the entrance, white floor tiles shape the corridor towards the main door. Small palms in a clay pot are guarded by stone figurines. The wooden door is encased in a carved frame, and opens up to reveal a magnificent sight.

A white corridor leads the way inside. The rounded corners seem natural, seeming more like a river’s flow than a man-made construction. The gray marble line that frames the white tiles seems to be the river bank.
The very first door opens to reveal a fully equipped laundry room.

Down the corridor, an arched mirror set in a heavy wooden frame mimics the colorful painting that hangs from the left side wall.

On the right, the kitchen opens to sight. Clear wood cabinets seem suspended by magic above the pearly countertop, while the modern appliances reveal the luxury behind it. Many colored tiles backsplash the wall, with sea creatures painted every so often inside them. Dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, fridge and stove, all shine in chromed finishing.

Next is the dining area. This four-piece set is a true masterpiece of simplicity and beauty. A loose wood-weave frames the cushioned chairs in the Old Hacienda Style, and the round marble table top offers room to spare.

A hallway leads to the bedrooms, with a large mirror framed in a twisting iron set.

Following the natural setting, the living room is something to behold. A tropical coral queen sofa-sleeper is set against the wall, and two turquoise blue, individual swivel chairs stand guard next to it. The center piece, a small coffee table, is set in a wooden top, the trunk of a tree simply stripped from bark and polished into a smooth, wonderful surface. A multicolored rug supports the weight of this all. End tables also with marble tops on both sides hold lamps of marvelous shapes. A natural wood entertainment center faces the living room, with all modern commodities gently placed atop. On each side, iron stands hold clay vases and crystal lamps.

Inside the Master bedroom, the closet is hidden away behind sliding wooden doors that match the color of the walls.

The King size bed is something that looks like it was taken out of a fairy tale. A massive carved wood seashell forms a detailed headboard, while the blue beddings complete the harmony. Two nightstands hold vases transformed into night lamps, and a circular rug of a masterful pattern is set at the feet of the massive bed. A cushioned lounge chair sits by the window, which offers a passageway to the terrace. An entertainment center is set in carved woods, and many fish swim through the wall, with mirrors embedded in their side. The Master bathroom is set behind closed doors. A pristine white curtain covers the inside of the shower, and the sink and drawers are close by, snuggly fit next to the shower’s wall.

The guest bedroom can be entered through the hall. In here, twin beds can be fused to become a King size bed, and their respective headrests from carved wood suggest details reminiscing of crashing waves, embellished by the artist’s hand. A talavera sun faces the beds, acting as the guardian of the closet’s sliding doors. An individual chair, similar to the ones on the dining area, sits comfortably next to the glass door that leads to another private terrace in the room. Beautiful drawers remain idle next to the opened curtains. In the small deck, two chairs and a coffee table face an eternity of greens and blues. The guest bathroom is located in the hall. White and blue are the only colors, offering a sight at the depths of the sea. In here, too, the sink is shielded by the shower wall, fitting perfectly in the gap it leaves with the bathroom’s wall.

As it is with most things, the best must be saved for last.

The terrace can be accessed through the sliding glass doors in the living room, and it opens into paradise. The small fence in the front guarantees tranquility. The outer patio dining faces the evergreen gardens of this tropical oasis. Iron Suns and chariots holding gas grills are also inside this heaven. Large stepping stones form a trail that leads from the cooling pools and the sandy beaches into the inside of this wonderful, unmatched unit.
Be most welcome into this, your new home-away-from-home.
